The marketplace removes the option to pay for goods upon receipt.
Buyers will now have to pay in advance for most items they want to order.
Ozon has decided to remove the post-payment option for many products, RBC reports.
This decision will affect both entrepreneurs and individual buyers.
The company explained that a study was conducted which showed that the post-payment function was in demand only for fashion categories (clothing, footwear, accessories, jewelry).
Therefore, it was decided to leave post-payment only for these categories. In other cases, it will be removed from November 1.
It is also specified that customers who ordered goods with post-payment before October 31 will be able to receive them at order pick-up points.
