Russian authorities are planning to increase the maximum amount of child care benefits to 1.5 years.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection Anton Kotyakov shared a comment on this topic.
The official explained how the size of this payment will change in Russia in the coming years, Prime reports.
Thus, in 2025, the maximum benefit amount will reach almost 69,000 rubles per month.
In 2026, this amount will be increased to 83,000 rubles. In 2027, it will reach almost 97,000 rubles.
Kotyakov also added that the state will continue to pay maternity capital.
Over the next three years, 1.7 trillion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for this purpose, the head of the department said.
The official also recalled that the payment of unused maternity capital balances began in September 2024.
We are talking about amounts that do not exceed 10,000 rubles.
Kotyakov specified that 113,000 families will take advantage of this opportunity.
