The President of Serbia praised the head of the regulator and noted that the Russian Federation is successfully resisting sanctions pressure.
On air on TV Prva, the politician pointed out that Russia is demonstrating resilience in the face of political and economic pressure.
Vucic admitted that he is surprised by the strength of the Russian system.
He believes that the decisions made by the head of the Central Bank play an important role in this. "Nabiullina is a genius," the Serbian leader said.
Vucic added that in the current situation, the Russian economy is demonstrating stability, but it is difficult for it to develop in the current conditions.
The politician pointed out that today Serbia’s economy is developing faster than Russia’s.
But Vucic stressed that Russia has a “wartime economy,” so he is impressed by how Moscow is resisting external pressure.
On Friday, October 25, the Central Bank raised the key rate from 19% to 21%, which became a record value for the national economy.
