Russia plans to increase military pensions.
From October 1 of this year, military pensions will increase by 5.1 percent.
Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy, and Veterans' Affairs, spoke about this in a conversation with Lenta.ru .
According to her, old-age, disability and survivor's insurance pensions were increased from January 1, and social pensions from April 1.
The increase in military pensions is planned for October 1, 2024.
Bessarab recalled that since February, almost all social payments, benefits and family capital have been increased by 7.5 percent.
The deputy emphasized that this year the increase will affect military pensions. From October 1, payments will increase by 5.1 percent.
At the beginning of 2025, Russians can expect other increases.
The State Council also proposed raising the limit on pension points for working pensioners.
