The Russian Prime Minister said how much the minimum wage will increase in 2025.
Mikhail Mishustin announced that the minimum wage will increase by 16.5% next year.
From the beginning of 2025, the minimum wage will reach 22,400 rubles (+3,158 rubles), RIA Novosti reports. Today, this figure is 19,242 rubles.
The Prime Minister emphasized that this measure will increase the wages of 4 million Russians.
The authorities will prepare a corresponding bill and submit it to the State Duma no later than October 1.
Mishustin recalled the presidential decree, according to which the government is instructed to ensure accelerated growth of the minimum wage.
The country's leadership expects that, at current growth rates, this figure will reach 35 thousand rubles by 2030.
