It has become known in which bank in Turkey it is impossible to open a ruble account.
For unknown reasons, the financial organization Ziraat refuses to open accounts in rubles, without explaining the reason for the refusal.
RIA Novosti learned about this from one of the bank’s branches located in Ankara.
It is specified that the first complaints from Russian citizens began to arrive at the beginning of the summer season.
Despite the fact that state banks have opening ruble accounts in their list of services, they refuse to do so. And the reason for the refusal is not reported.
The reason for the refusal is unknown, since those people who do business in Turkey have a residence permit or a special permit to work or study in the country.
According to Russians living in Turkey, in fact they can only open accounts in private banks, provided that a deposit is made.
It is noted that difficulties with opening accounts may be related to the fact that transfers between Turkey and Russia remain difficult.
