The prosecutor's office calculated how many thefts under national projects occurred in 2024.
According to the agency, at least 4.5 billion rubles were stolen during the implementation of various national projects.
This was announced by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov during his speech in the Federation Council, RIA Novosti reports.
It is noted that during the committee meeting the issue of reappointing Krasnov to the post of Prosecutor General of Russia was decided.
The Prosecutor General noted that his department exercises supervisory control over the implementation of all significant national projects.
In 2024, about 48 thousand acts of response to violations were submitted. For example, 460 million in losses were incurred by projects as a result of contractors violating contract terms.
However, articles on theft of funds predominate: the prosecutor's office has identified violations amounting to over 4.5 billion rubles in national priority projects.
