In many large Russian cities, the cost of renting apartments has increased.
At the same time, experts recorded the growth ahead of time. Seasonal price increases are usually recorded in August, not in July.
One-room apartments have increased in price the most in Kurgan (+12.8% per month), Novosibirsk (+12.4%) and Astrakhan (+11.7%). In Moscow and St. Petersburg, there was a slight increase - 3% and 2.6% respectively, writes the portal " World of Apartments ".
Two-room apartments have become noticeably more expensive in Kaliningrad (+11.3%), Kurgan (+9.4%) and Novosibirsk (+9.3%).
As for three-room options, the leaders here are Volzhsky (+15%), Kaluga (+11%) and Smolensk (+9.9%).
In July 2024, the increase in rental prices was twice as large as the year before.
The main reason for this situation is related to the cancellation of preferential mortgage products. Against this background, the sales market is becoming less attractive for Russians.
Now the focus is shifting to renting. At the same time, the supply of rental housing has decreased by 14%.
