It has become known how the cost of housing and communal services has changed in Russia.
Compared to July last year, services have become almost 10% more expensive.
This conclusion follows from statistics presented by Rosstat.
According to a comparative study, over the past year the amount of Russians’ utility bills increased by 9.4%.
It is noted that the specified value corresponds to the average value of tariff indexation in the Russian Federation. Let us recall that utility tariffs increased by 9.6% from July 1, 2024.
Compared to July 2023, prices for individual utilities have increased in the following proportions:
- cold water supply increased in price by 11.3%;
- hot water increased in price by 10.9%;
- water disposal prices increased by 11.2%;
- heating prices increased by 10.2%;
- gas prices rose by 9.4%;
- Electricity prices increased by 8.9%.
Other housing and communal services showed less significant growth. For example, garbage removal increased by 7.0%, major repairs by 4.4%. Housing maintenance and repairs for individual homeowners increased in price by 4.3%.
