It has become known which countries have come up with a way to pay for the transit of Russian gas.
Hungary and Bulgaria have found a solution to circumvent sanctions against Gazprombank.
This decision was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, on the social network Facebook*.
It is noted that earlier Bulgaria announced the possible termination of transit of natural gas from Russia to Central Europe.
This decision was due to the fact that under US sanctions, paying for energy resources became impossible.
However, as Szijjártó assured, a solution was eventually found. The head of the foreign policy department did not specify what measures were being discussed.
However, according to Szijjártó, the solution found by the two countries on gas payments does not fall under US sanctions. He noted that legal and financial work remains to be completed, and natural gas supplies via Bulgaria will be guaranteed for the next billing period.
