HR expert Lina Rishatova said that this is due to the fact that delivery workers cannot be replaced by artificial intelligence, writes NEWS.ru.
In addition, the shortage of personnel has an impact. In the Russian Federation, the number of people wishing to work remotely is growing, primarily in the IT sector.
These two factors have led to such a significant increase in wages. At the same time, couriers are more often students who find it convenient to combine this activity with their studies.
But there are pitfalls here too. The expert explained that there is a high turnover of personnel in this area.
Not everyone is ready to work 7 days a week even for 200 thousand rubles a month. Many do not stay in such work for long.
According to data for 2023, the number of Russians working as couriers exceeded 1 million. At the same time, every sixth resident of the country has experience in this field.
