The problem of saving money is always relevant.
Some people save up for new household appliances, renovations, a new car, while others save up for their own business.
People have many goals, but how to save money correctly if your income leaves much to be desired and is not going to increase in the near future?
How to save money
1. You need to set a specific goal to go towards, calculate how much money you need for it. And based on the final amount, it will be easier and simpler to understand how much you need to save per month.
2. If a person decides to save, he will have to give up entertainment. Giving up pleasure today will bring fruits tomorrow, this axiom is worth remembering for everyone who is concerned about saving the budget.
3. A good rule is the so-called "60-30-10". This means that 60% of your income goes to paying bills and buying food, 30% goes to necessities, and 10% is saved.
This formula is recognized as the most effective at any income level and will allow you to painlessly and stably replenish your budget.
4. The most important qualities for successful and competent saving of funds are planning and self-discipline.
You should calculate what you need to give up and what is really necessary. It will be difficult at first, and there is a high probability of "breaking down", but you should always remember your goal.
5. One of the most important items of expenditure is food. It is worth switching to healthy eating, giving up bad habits.
If a person smokes, then let him calculate how much money he literally “throws to the wind” per month for the sake of this unhealthy hobby.
Sweets, carbonated drinks, alcohol – all of this not only harms health, but also takes up a large part of the expense item.
6. It is also best to make a list of necessary purchases and go to the store with it. This will help to avoid thoughtless impulsive purchases.
The goods in the stores are arranged in a way that is not easy - their order should provide a desire to buy. And since the goal is to save for more important purchases, there is no need to succumb to the influence of marketing.
The situation with household appliances is about the same. Expensive Italian and German refrigerators have a number of analogues from less famous manufacturers.
There is no need to overpay for a brand; first of all, the item should be functional.
7. It would be very good to find an additional source of income. Fortunately, there are many opportunities for this now. Thanks to it, the flow of funds will increase, and as a result, the opportunities for purchases or saving money will increase.
Whatever the income, first of all, a person needs financial literacy and self-discipline to use it successfully and competently.
