In an interview with RIA Novosti , she reported that in 2025, an increase in pension payments by 6.7% is expected.
Russians who have retired will see their payments indexed in two stages next year. The first will take place on February 1 (+4.5%) and April 1 (+2.2%).
A two-stage indexation is also expected in 2026. After the February payment, it will increase by 4%, and after the April payment, by 2.8%.
The overall growth of pensions in 2026 will be 6.8%, and over two years they will increase by 13.5%.
As for recipients of social pensions, their payments will increase by 9.5% in 2025.
Today it is 7689.82 rubles. After indexation it is expected to be 8420.35 rubles.
