In Russia, pensions are expected to increase for some categories of citizens from November 1, 2024.
This was reported by Linda Ryzhikh, an expert on labor law from RANEPA.
She explained that the pension increase will affect three categories of recipients, RIA Novosti writes.
From November 1, pensions will be increased for workers in the coal industry. To receive increased payments, you must have at least 25 years of service for men and 20 years for women.
The increase will apply to flight crew members under similar conditions.
Pensioners who celebrated their 80th birthday in October will also receive increased pensions.
From November 1, they are entitled to an additional payment to their old-age pension.
This year, the fixed monthly payment to the old-age insurance pension is 8,134.88 rubles.
Ryzhikh emphasized that from November, those who have reached 80 years of age will receive 16,269.76 rubles per month.
