It has become known whether gasoline prices will rise in Russia.
Contrary to forecasts, gasoline prices will not rise in the near future.
Nikolai Vavilov, a specialist in the department of strategic research at Total Research, spoke about this in an interview with the Prime agency.
He explained that the temporary ban on gasoline exports from September 1 is a temporary measure.
The government is thus maintaining stability in the domestic fuel market during periods of increased demand.
The expert recalled that previously a similar measure was in effect from March 1 to August 31.
At the end of July, a rise in gasoline prices was recorded again, with forecasts of up to 70 rubles per liter.
Vavilov is confident that the decision to extend the ban was correct.
He considers it timely given the current situation and the predicted surges in the near future.
The expert is convinced that the authorities immediately respond to the slightest price imbalances with effective efforts at different stages.
