Experts from the development company Level Group have released information that in Moscow buyers have begun to refuse to purchase housing in new buildings.
It is emphasized that the corresponding demand decreased by 27 percent per month compared to the June period.
In a conversation with Lenta.ru , analysts noted: “The share of mortgage transactions in the total volume has also fallen.”
The indicated indicator fell to 63 percent, while mortgage demand, in turn, fell by 42 percent.
Real estate situation
According to experts, this kind of situation is directly related to the fact that preferential mortgages for new buildings have been cancelled.
In addition, the changed conditions for family mortgages with the parallel exclusion of Moscow from the IT mortgage program had an impact.
These aspects led to a decrease in mortgage demand. At the same time, the level of transactions without a mortgage remained unchanged.
As was announced earlier, over the course of a year the price per square meter of apartments in new buildings in the capital has increased by 12 percent.
