Experts believe that some brands may soon disappear from Russia.
Experts expressed this opinion in a conversation with the agency " Autostat ".
For example, the director of the Pragmatika dealership chain, Alexander Shaprinsky, believes that low profitability will force them to leave.
Among such brands, the expert named Livan, Kaiyi, SWM, Foton. Shaprinsky argued his point by the fact that the creators of these cars have not invested in the development of their brands for a long time.
Andrey Olkhovsky, CEO of the AVTODOM Group of Companies, suggested that small brands with a turnover of up to 3 thousand cars per year will experience pressure from large manufacturers.
However, it is too early to talk about the final departure of these names from the market.
As for famous brands such as Chery, Geely, Great Wall and Changan, they will face tough competition with each other.
All of the above companies produce similar cars, and therefore in the category of up to 2-3 million rubles there is a fierce battle between them, since none of the companies demonstrates a clear advantage over the other.
