The workload of collectors has decreased sharply due to new limits on transfers from May 1.
Raising the threshold for transfers to oneself to 30 million rubles has reduced the use of ATMs by Russians.
Now citizens are less likely to transfer large sums of money from bank to bank via ATMs, RBC reports, citing market participants.
According to the Russian Association of Cash Collectors "Rosinkas", people used to withdraw and transfer money to another bank using ATMs, but this does not happen now.
The servicing load on some of these ATMs has decreased recently.
Chairman of the Board of Rosinkas Vasily Medvedev noted that since the beginning of 2024, the number of trips has fallen by 30 percent.
The revenue of collectors has decreased significantly, as it depends on the volume of funds transferred, he added.
Therefore, Rosinkas decided to forcefully raise tariffs for commercial clients.
