Butter from Turkey to appear on Russian store shelves

Türkiye helps Russia prevent butter shortage.

This country began supplying butter to the Russian Federation on October 27, representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor reported.

As of October 29, 20 tons of products had already been imported into Russia, TASS reports, citing the department’s press service.

The Ministry of Agriculture previously emphasized that all measures are being taken to increase imports of oil from countries that are considered friendly.

The agency is developing a strategy to saturate the domestic market and stabilize prices for this type of product.

At the same time, the ministry emphasized that today the situation with oil is stable, the market is fully supplied.

In addition to imports, Russia will increase its own production of this product by the end of 2024.

Rosstat calculated that from January to September, prices for butter in Russia increased by 17.96%.

The agency has taken control of the situation. Measures have already been taken to reduce prices for butter.
