According to Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz, only gifted young people should be in universities, while others should master working professions.

He spoke about two ways to deal with the labor shortage in the country, writes Regnum .

The governor believes that the labor shortage can be solved by attracting migrants or cutting higher education.

Bogomaz stated that only gifted children should study in Russian universities.

Young people without higher education must master blue-collar jobs.

He also criticized virtual education in universities, the level of which is highly questionable.

“It went in one ear and out the other, but you need a natural gift,” the governor explained.

Bogomaz also added that many citizens in the regions live on benefits and do not want to work.
