US President Joe Biden announced the signing of a new aid package for Ukraine.
The American leader made the relevant information public during his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky.
Biden, in particular, emphasized: “I am proud to announce a new support package for Kiev,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
As the US President indicated, we are talking about assistance related to the “security area for Ukraine.”
Washington's decision
According to the American leader, the specified package for Kyiv is the eighth since the national security law was adopted.
In addition, Biden added that all subsequent details on this issue will be disclosed by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
Russia has repeatedly pointed out that providing Ukraine with Western weapons and ammunition will only escalate the conflict.
Moscow, among other things, emphasized the importance of initiating peace negotiations on the Ukrainian crisis.
