Deposits for a period of one year are the most profitable, but this does not last long.
Banks have improved deposit terms ahead of the regulator's June meeting.
“The largest number of bets were on annual deposits,” Bogdan Zvarich, chief analyst at Banki.ru , told the Prime agency.
Against the backdrop of a high key rate, banks have begun to change the terms of deposits.
According to Zvarich, the most favorable conditions are currently offered for a period of up to one year inclusive.
Previously, the most profitable deposits were for 3-6 months. However, banks have revised the terms, expecting a possible increase in the key rate.
Therefore, the most advantageous offers for attracting funds from the population are for deposits for a period of one year.
Zvarich believes that banks may return to attracting short-term liquidity.
