Without Butter and Milk: How to Make Apple Pie

Apple pie is a classic that never goes out of style.

Its aroma, taste and delicate texture can conquer even the most fastidious gourmet.

Apple pie is not just a dessert, but a symbol of warmth, comfort and home. Treat yourself and your loved ones with this simple but very tasty dish.

Ingredients

  • Green apple (Granny Smith) - 6 pcs.,
  • Egg - 3 pcs.,
  • Sugar - 200 g (increase or decrease the amount to taste),
  • Flour - 125 g,
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 tablespoon,
  • Ground cinnamon, powdered sugar - for sprinkling.

Preparation

Step 1: Peel and core the apples. Cut them into small slices.

Step 2: Place the sliced apples in a pie dish.

Step 3: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until smooth. Add vanilla sugar and beat again.

Step 4. Sift the flour and add it to the beaten egg mixture. Mix thoroughly with a spoon.

Step 5: Pour the batter into the pie pan over the apples.

Step 6. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 55-60 minutes.

Step 7: Once baked, let the pie cool completely, then turn it out onto a plate. The apples should be on top of the pie. Sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Notes

1. Don't forget to line the pie pan with baking paper or grease it with butter in advance. This will help prevent the pie from sticking.

2. For a more pronounced aroma, you can add a pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg to the dough.

3. Apple pie goes well with sour cream. Mix sour cream with sugar, pour over the pie and refrigerate for at least an hour. Or serve the sour cream separately.
