Every year the problem of obesity among the world's population becomes more and more acute, and is only gaining momentum.
The issue of obesity among young people was also raised at the last meeting of the health committee.
And researchers studying this problem have identified two very important factors that only contribute to the spread of this problem.
The first factor is that calories have become very cheap, they have become much more accessible, and “heavy” food, such as fast food and processed foods, is becoming more popular every day.
The modern diet contains a huge amount of starch, fats of both animal and vegetable origin, flour, not to mention flavor enhancers that force people to eat excessively much, without realizing the amount of food consumed.
The second important factor of obesity, scientists say, is the factor of “unclaimed energy,” that is, the refusal of a huge number of young people to use their bodies with additional energy.
Simply put, the average day of a modern person is radically different from the average day of a person 100-200 years ago.
This is facilitated by various gadgets, telephones, smartphones, tablets and desktop computers, on which modern people spend quite a lot of time.
Now, having figured out the main causes of obesity, knowing the enemy in person, you can make up several simple rules that will most effectively help you not to gain excess weight again.
Rule number one. Understand what you eat. This is especially true for those products that you consume on a regular basis. Study the composition and caloric content, digestibility of the ingredients of your table.
Rule two. Replace the most caloric products with their less caloric but healthier counterparts.
For example, white bread can be replaced with healthier and less caloric rye bread, juices with fruits, and so on.
Rule three. Try to fill your free time with physical activity as much as possible. If you don’t have time for the gym, play with your children, do something around the house, if you have your own garden, cleaning it will be an ideal physical activity.
Rule number four. Give up transport one day a week. It's not difficult at all and will quickly become a habit. Walk and hike more, your body will thank you.
Rule number five. Don't sit in front of the TV for a long time, don't sit on your phone, especially before bed. During the time you spend hugging your gadgets, you can go for a run in the nearest park.
By following five simple rules, you will not give your body time to gain excess weight, and will also strengthen and improve your health.
