The problem of excess weight is widespread in modern society, and there are different methods of losing weight. But sometimes it is enough not to gain weight, but to maintain the one that suits you.
Often in the evenings, especially before bed, I want to eat.
Sleeping on an empty stomach often causes nightmares, and some people finish work late and come home closer to nightfall.
In this case, you shouldn't starve yourself - you can eat some foods at night that will not affect your weight at all, and may even improve your body's condition.
Boiled eggs overnight
You shouldn't overindulge in this snack, but such hearty food is necessary both for normal sleep and for the proper functioning of the body.
One boiled egg can be eaten before bed no more than three times a week.
Eggs are almost entirely made up of protein, which helps the body's muscles recover.
However, these processes can lead to dehydration, so be sure to drink water after such a snack. Do not eat scrambled eggs or soft-boiled eggs - this is too heavy food for a tired body.
Cucumbers
One large cucumber before bed (or two small ones) is great for helping you feel full.
You shouldn't eat like this every day, because this vegetable has a diuretic property, but you can snack on fresh cucumber at night. But you shouldn't eat them salted before bed - you'll definitely get edema.
Boiled or stewed chicken
This snack will also be useful due to the large amount of protein, but the portion should be very small, about 100-150 grams.
After all, meat is a fairly heavy food and takes a long time to digest.
Kefir
An excellent option not only for creating a feeling of satiety, but also for the digestive organs. Like all of the above, it should not be consumed daily.
And don’t be afraid to drink kefir and believe stories about “mucus in the body from dairy products” – this is another far-fetched theory from would-be nutritionists.
Tomatoes with hard cheese
A small portion of this salad (without dressing, of course) perfectly eliminates the feeling of hunger, and is also quite balanced. No swelling or rumbling in the stomach, and with them, excess weight.
In any case, it is worth knowing the measure. Portions for the night should always be smaller in volume than usual, they should not contain dressings or sauces, as well as sugar in any form.
If one of the listed types of snacks causes discomfort later, it is worth giving it up, because each organism is individual. But all these options for eating before bed will not lead to excess weight if you observe the measure.
