Working with yeast dough is quite difficult.
Many housewives have at least once encountered the problem that the dough did not rise.
Chef and culinary expert Yulia Arkhipova suggested a simple trick that will help solve this problem.
Why the dough doesn't rise
Yeast dough may not rise for several reasons.
Firstly, it is important to pay attention to the expiration dates of the yeast.
It is also necessary to strictly adhere to the storage conditions.
In addition, it is better to use wheat flour for baking with yeast.
Just make sure to sift it first. Then the dough will be soft and airy.
The dough will not rise if you use cold butter. It should be at room temperature.
Also, the dough will "fall" if a lot of sugar is added.
The dough may not rise if you add salt in the middle of the cooking process. This ingredient should be added at the end.
How to solve the problem
There is a simple way that will help “reanimate” fallen dough.
The oven should be heated to 50 degrees. On the lower tier we place a baking tray with water, and a little higher we place the dough.
We close the door and wait for the dough to rise.
You can do without an oven. Pour hot water into a saucepan and cover with a towel. Put the dough on top and wrap it in a towel.
