The following ingredients can be used as an alternative:
- Coconut milk, which will add a tropical touch to the drink. Just keep in mind that the coconut flavor may overpower the coffee.
- Rice milk, which has a sweeter taste than cow's milk. This is the advantage of this ingredient: there is no need to add sugar.
- Soy milk, which is the most common substitute for cow's milk, may impart a slight bean flavor to the drink.
- Almond milk, which gives the drink a subtle nutty flavor.
