The specialist noted that the best time to drink kefir is in the morning or afternoon.

In the morning hours, this drink can stimulate metabolism.

During the day, as the expert pointed out, it helps maintain alertness.

The doctor also does not recommend consuming this fermented milk product at night.

He explained that it is better not to drink this drink two or even three hours before bed.

The specialist said that lactic acid can lead to increased fermentation processes in the intestines. And this can ultimately lead to sleep disorders.

The doctor emphasized that kefir can be drunk on an empty stomach, because it has a positive effect on the intestinal microflora, improving it, and also helps improve digestion.

However, drinking this drink on an empty stomach is not recommended for people who have a stomach ulcer or gastritis.

In addition, the expert pointed out that one should refrain from consuming this product during an exacerbation of pancreatitis.

The doctor also stated that when consuming kefir, one must adhere to the norm.
