We all know what an avocado looks like, but few people know what it tastes like.
When buying an avocado, make sure it is soft.
With ripe fruits, all preparations are much easier.
How to Separate an Avocado
First, wash it thoroughly and place it on a towel. Wipe it so it doesn't slip and hold it firmly on top with one hand.
Take the knife in your other hand and start cutting from the narrower side. Draw the knife around it, put the knife aside and hold the avocado with both hands.
Then twist it in the opposite direction until the halves separate from the pit.
Avocado peel
Cut the avocado into slices. The darker and greener parts of the avocado are not eaten, the yellow part is considered dietary.
How it is
You can eat it raw and on its own, but it will taste much better if you add a few drops of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar.
It can be turned into a paste, sauce or smoothie. A slice can be added to sandwiches or salads.
