Homemade dumplings are undoubtedly superior to even the best store-bought ones, but making them can be tricky.
They can be prepared in advance and then frozen for later frying, boiling or steaming. The main thing is good and correct dough.
There is a simple recipe that will help you get thin and elastic dough for homemade dumplings.
Preparing dough for dumplings
Take three cups of flour, a pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and a glass of boiling water.
Mix water, oil and salt, then gradually pour the liquid into the flour, stirring the dough with a spoon.
Vegetable oil is a product that will make the workpiece elastic.
When the dough forms a ball, knead it with your hands and leave it for half an hour, wrapped in a towel or bag.
Now you can move on to making the dumplings themselves. It is better to sprinkle the table with flour, but only lightly. If there is too much powder, the dough will be dry and will tear.
Earlier we talked about super-juicy cutlets that can be prepared in half an hour and without a meat grinder.
