Apples and other fruits
Apples can produce ethylene, a substance that can be harmful to some vegetables, including cauliflower and broccoli.
You should also avoid keeping apples, oranges, onions and pumpkin next to each other in the refrigerator.
It is also better not to place onions and mushrooms and cheese and smoked meats together.
