Eggs are a product that is always present in every refrigerator.
However, not everyone knows how to actually choose it correctly in order to bring maximum benefit to the body.
Culinary expert of TUT NOVOSTI, chef and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova will tell you what to look for in a store.
How to choose eggs correctly
Let's start with the fact that white and brown eggs are not different in anything except the color of the shell. And that, in turn, depends on the color of the chicken that laid them.
But you need to pay attention to the category of eggs. If you see eggs marked "D", you can be sure and take them safely.
Category "D" is a dietary product that is also distinguished by its freshness. Dietary eggs hit the store shelves either on the same day the chicken laid them or within the next day.
If you have category "C" products in front of you, the number is important. Don't be scared by the small size of category "C2" eggs: in fact, they were simply laid by young hens, and therefore they contain much fewer harmful additives like antibiotics and growth hormones than "C0".
