How often can you meet a person who is ready to cook chebureki at home? It seems that they are difficult and time-consuming to cook.

However, there is a recipe without flour and kneading, which will definitely be a discovery, so it makes sense to repeat it.

What is the idea behind the preparation?

The idea behind "lazy chebureks" is to use frozen puff pastry instead of traditional cheburek dough.

This eliminates the need for kneading and rolling the dough, reducing preparation time to a minimum.

You can buy puff pastry in any store. This dough greatly simplifies the cooking process and will definitely be a revelation for most. Of course, when choosing puff pastry, you need to look at its composition and additives. For example, "sweet" puff pastry is definitely not suitable for making chebureks.

Preparing the filling

It can be a meat mixture with onions and spices, vegetables with cheese, or even a sweet filling with fruits and cinnamon. When choosing a filling, it is worth starting from personal preferences. It also makes sense to experiment a little to achieve the ideal effect.

Defrosting the dough

Before you begin cooking, it is important to make sure that the puff pastry is completely defrosted according to the instructions on the package. Do not over-thaw the dough, as this will negatively affect the taste.

Forming chebureks

Roll out the defrosted dough on a work surface and cut it into squares. Put a small amount of filling on each square, then carefully fold the dough in half to form a triangle. The edges can be sealed with a fork or other convenient methods.

Which cooking method to choose

There are 2 options:

  • frying in a pan with oil;
  • baking in the oven.

Fry the chebureki until golden brown on all sides or bake at 200°C until done.

Of course, to learn how to cook them quickly, you need some skill. However, this method of cooking is definitely worth taking as a basis, and it will be a revelation for most.
