It is difficult to imagine a festive feast without appetizers.
This is especially true for New Year celebrations.
There are three ideas for those who have not figured out what appetizers to treat their guests to.
Canapes are very easy to prepare and offer a variety of options.
A recognized hit is canapes with red fish.
A small piece of smoked or lightly salted fish (trout, salmon or pink salmon) is placed on a thin slice of fresh cucumber.
Place a little cream cheese on top and garnish with parsley. All this is secured with a skewer.
Instead of red fish, you can use shrimp.
But they are first boiled, peeled and cut in half.
A skewer is threaded with ½ a cherry tomato, followed by a shrimp, and then a cube of hard cheese.
The third option is called "Cheese Balls".
Mix grated cheese with garlic and mayonnaise and then form into balls.
They need to be rolled in finely chopped dill.
Next, a pitted olive is threaded onto a skewer, followed by a cheese ball.
