Lightly salted fish is always a welcome guest on the festive table.

It is easy to prepare, which will allow you to save money, since raw products are always cheaper than ready-made ones.

Culinary expert of TUT NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova is ready to share a simple recipe that can be easily repeated at home.

Ingredients

To prepare lightly salted salmon you will need:

  • 500 grams of salmon fillet;
  • 1 tablespoon salt;
  • half a teaspoon of sugar;
  • 10 peppercorns.

Wash the fish thoroughly, removing any remaining scales, then wrap it in paper towels. It is important that its surface is dry by the time of cooking.

Mix sugar and salt together, rub the fish with the resulting mixture and place in a glass container.

After that, add peppercorns. In order for it to give the fish a piquant and spicy taste, it is recommended to crush the peas with a knife.

Place the resulting dish in the refrigerator for 12 hours. If you prefer a more intense fish flavor, then it is better to wait 24 hours before enjoying it.
