For various reasons, yeast dough may not rise, even if you have prepared it according to all the rules.
This raises the question of whether it can be used in practice in this form.
Culinary expert of HERE NEWS, chef and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova will answer all your questions.
Is it possible to bake from unrisen dough?
In fact, you can bake with this dough if you like baked goods that are not soft and fluffy.
Therefore, before getting upset, it is better to try to correct the situation.
Try this method. Preheat the oven to 40 degrees, pour water into the baking tray and place it at the bottom. Place the container with the dough on the grill and wait a little: perhaps the yeast just hasn't had time to activate.
If the dough has started to rise, but not enough, then dry yeast can save the situation. Add it to a glass of warm milk or water, add a spoonful of sugar and wait for foam to appear. After that, you can add the dough starter to your failed dough.
