How to Skin a Beef Tongue
In order for the skin to come off in one piece, the tongue must be completely cooked. If the tongue is undercooked, you will not succeed.
If you are sure that the product is ready, then you have two options for how to quickly remove the skin from it.
The first method of cleaning the tongue is as follows: Fill a container with ice water, add ice to it.
Without cooling the tongue, remove it from the pot in which it was cooked and place it in an ice bath. Stir until it is completely submerged.
After 10-15 minutes, take it out, dry it and you can clean it.
The second method will take you a little more time, but the result will be that your tongue will be clean just as quickly.
Remove the tongue from the pot in which it was cooked, put it in another container and pour the same broth over it. And wait for about 3 hours until the broth and tongue have completely cooled down: after this, the product is ready for easy skin removal.
