What can replace mayonnaise?
If you are preparing herring under a fur coat, then sour cream with mustard will be an excellent alternative to mayonnaise. To prepare the sauce, take 200 grams of fat sour cream, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard and 2 boiled yolks.
Mix the yolks with sour cream, add mustard and mix with a blender until smooth.
But in Olivier salad, mayonnaise can be replaced by a mixture of yogurt and cottage cheese. Take 200 grams of unsweetened yogurt without additives, 200 grams of cottage cheese, 2 teaspoons of mustard and lemon juice, and 2 boiled yolks.
All ingredients are mixed in a bowl and whipped in a blender until smooth.
