Baked tomatoes called "Senor Tomato"

Ingredients required:

  • 5 medium tomatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 190 g minced meat;
  • Half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
  • A couple of cloves of garlic;
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon;
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup (or better yet, tomato paste);
  • 55 g rice;
  • 90 ml broth;
  • Several small sprigs of dill (preferably fresh);
  • 2-3 tablespoons oil (vegetable);
  • Parsley and mint to your taste.

1. For this dish, most of the ingredients are store-bought minced pork.
2. You need to make some kind of cups from the tomatoes (the filling will be in them). You don’t need to throw away the pulp, you will need it soon. Carefully distribute all the sugar over the tomato cups.
3. Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves.
4. Fry the chopped onion and garlic together with the minced meat, stirring constantly for several minutes.
5. Place the remaining tomato pulp in a frying pan and add raw rice and tomato paste (ketchup).
6. Cook, stirring regularly until crumbly.
7. Next, mix the mince with the greens and put it into the tomato cups. Place the tomato cups in a baking tray and add a little water, then cover the tomatoes with the lid (you cut it off at the very beginning) and bake the future snack for about half an hour.
All that's left to do is remove the pan from the oven and let the food cool!
