The buckwheat diet has a duration of three, seven and fourteen days. They vary in complexity, but the result of each is weight loss from two to twelve kilograms.

Ways to lose weight

For emergency weight loss, two diet options are used, each of which can last no more than seven days.

Strict (mono diet)

It is most often used and lasts for three days. It is considered a healing treatment and helps cleanse the body.

The technique is not very complicated, it resembles fasting days and allows you to “emergency” lose a few kilograms.

The main ingredient in the menu is buckwheat porridge, which is recommended to be eaten in any quantity. In addition, it is necessary to drink at least two liters of water daily.

The main thing in such a diet is proper preparation.

It is better not to boil the cereal, but to place it in a saucepan overnight, pour boiling water over it, and close the lid tightly. You can also “brew” it in a thermos.

Approximately, you need to take one glass of buckwheat and two of water. Salt, sugar, seasonings and spices are not added. In the morning, the porridge will be ready to eat, retaining its beneficial properties. You can eat it until you feel full.

With the use of kefir

This version of the diet is easier: you are allowed to drink low-fat kefir daily (no more than one liter per day), and the amount of dry cereal is limited to two hundred to two hundred and fifty grams.

You can also add some natural yogurt (one hundred grams). You should drink at least two liters of clean water during the day.

Both diet options are designed for four meals, with the last meal four hours before bedtime.

After finishing the diet, it is necessary to exclude fatty foods, sweets, semi-finished products, and baked goods from the diet for some time. It is permissible to repeat the method no earlier than in a month.

In addition, a light buckwheat diet is used, in which it is permissible to consume a little fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as dried fruits, per day.

It is allowed to drink a cup of coffee or unsweetened green tea in the morning.

Light diets are:

with dried fruits - eat a little dried apricots and prunes;

with fruits, vegetables, cheese - all fruits are used, only bananas, dates and cherries are not suitable. Vegetables must be steamed;

General tonic - for breakfast use cottage cheese (no more than one hundred twenty-five grams), boiled meat (one hundred grams); for lunch prepare a salad with soy sauce or sunflower oil.

This nutrition system is designed for three daily meals.

Contraindications

It is not recommended to use the buckwheat weight loss method for people:

  • with diseases of the digestive tract;
  • with heavy physical exertion;
  • with long-term health problems;
  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • in childhood and adolescence.
