Gastroenterologist at the Vidnovskaya Clinical Hospital of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health Lyudmila Sukhorukova warned those who should avoid eating cottage cheese.

People with kidney disease, gastritis, and allergies to milk protein should not eat cottage cheese, RIA Novosti emphasizes.

According to the specialist, cottage cheese contains a large amount of protein, which can burden the urinary system. Therefore, people with kidney problems should exclude this product from their diet.

Cottage cheese should also be avoided by those suffering from excess weight and atherosclerosis. In addition, it should not be eaten if you have gastritis.

For children, the maximum amount of cottage cheese is 100 grams per day, and for adults - 200 grams. Athletes can consume this product in large quantities.
