To make coffee without a coffee machine, it is best to use a French press or a Turk. A French press will help preserve the oils and aroma of coffee beans, and a Turk will add richness to the drink.
The correct proportion of coffee and water
It is important to remember about the correct proportion of coffee and water. Typically, a French press uses about 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every 240 ml of water.
For a Turk, the proportion may be slightly different, approximately 1-2 teaspoons of coffee per 60-70 ml of water.
Brewing method
You need a suitable vessel (French press or Turk) with freshly ground coffee and add hot, but not boiling water. Then you need to wait 3-4 minutes until the coffee is brewed.
Filtration and supply
If you used a French press, you need to slowly lower the plunger so that the coffee granules sediment remains at the bottom and the foam forms on the surface. If you used a Turk, then you need to leave the drink for a few minutes so that the sediment goes to the bottom.
