Just one culinary trick will help solve several problems associated with cooking beets.
Firstly, the root vegetable will cook faster. Secondly, there will be no unpleasant smell and the walls of the pan will remain clean.
And a plastic bag will help with this. Place the beets in the bag.
Then we remove the air from it and tie it up. We put the bag in a saucepan and fill it with cold water. Then we put it on the fire and wait until the water boils.
Beets should be cooked until done. The cooking time depends on the size of the root vegetable.
You can also quickly cook beets in the microwave. Place them in a bag, tie it up and make a couple of small holes.
Then we put the bag in the microwave and turn it on for ten minutes. The cooking time will again be affected by the size of the beets and the power of the appliance.
