Chanterelles are one of the most beloved types of mushrooms among Russians.
In order for the dish to reveal its full flavor, it is important to cook it correctly.
Culinary expert of TUT NEWS, cook and fourth-class baker Yulia Arkhipova will tell you what operation chanterelles must undergo to reveal their taste.
How to cook chanterelles
Chanterelles differ from other mushrooms in that they need to be thoroughly washed before cooking.
Moreover, this must be done under running water so that no trace of soil or forest litter remains.
The second important step is boiling the mushrooms. Chanterelles need to be boiled for at least 20 minutes, and the water must be salted.
Experienced cooks advise boiling chanterelles for half an hour, since this method allows the mushrooms to become softer and fully reveal their taste and aroma.
After boiling, chanterelles can be added to other dishes or fried in a frying pan.
