An omelette is a very capricious dish that is easy to spoil.
Moreover, due to some mistakes in preparation, you may end up with a dry egg mass.
Chef and culinary expert Yulia Arkhipova has suggested how to make an omelette fluffier.
A little trick
Thanks to one simple ingredient, the omelette will be tender and fluffy. And it won't fall even on the plate.
To do this, simply add a little baking soda to the omelette during the cooking process.
As a result, the dish will become airy and will hold its shape well.
Other cooking secrets
To prevent the omelette from falling, it is important to follow some rules.
You need to choose the right cookware. A frying pan with an uneven and thin bottom is not suitable for making an omelette.
The best option would be a cast iron frying pan with a non-stick coating.
It will heat up evenly, and therefore the omelette will not stick or burn.
In this case, the frying pan must be properly heated beforehand.
Then pour some vegetable oil on it and after some time pour in the egg mixture.
Also, do not mix the eggs too vigorously. It is not recommended to use a mixer for this.
It is enough to simply mix the eggs thoroughly with a fork.
After cooking, the omelette should not be removed from the frying pan immediately. It should be left to sit for a few minutes and only then transferred to a plate.
