Minimalism is an attractive style in the interior in terms of style and conciseness.
However, not all people know how to properly implement it in their apartment.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI on issues of interior design and interior design, is ready to list the main mistakes that occur most often.
Mistakes in Minimalist Interior Design
Firstly, minimalism is not synonymous with sterility, i.e. you should not have the feeling that you are in a museum. A single blanket or a palm tree in a tub is enough to breathe life into the interior.
However, in the case of a blanket, it is important not to overdo it. An abundance of textiles turns a minimalist interior into an ordinary one.
The third mistake is to rely only on straight lines. Strict furniture is good and minimalistic, but you can at least afford lamps with smooth lines.
And remember that minimalism is not only white. As a base, it is, of course, ideal, but too monotonous if you stop at only one shade.
The fifth mistake is to continue collecting various figurines and other items that fall under the category of dust collectors. This does not mean that you need to get rid of all the decor in one fell swoop: 1-2 truly stylish things are enough.
