The bedroom is an ideal place not only for rest, but also for privacy.
And how to make it cozy and comfortable, we’ll talk about that now.
Selecting a color scheme
For the bedroom, we choose light pastel colors. They will help you relax and have a good rest, says Yulia Tychino .
Wood in the interior
It is no secret that natural wood gives the room additional coziness and warmth. Therefore, the more wooden interior elements there are in the bedroom, the cozier it will be.
Lighting
Even if your bedroom is modest in size, a chandelier alone will not suffice. You can complement it with wall sconces, spotlights and bedside lamps. The light in the bedroom should be soft and subdued.
A multi-level ceiling with spotlights will be an excellent option. A favorite technique of many interior designers is decorating the bedroom with mirrors.
As a rule, the walls on both sides of the bed are decorated. Large framed mirrors or mirror panels are used for this purpose, which decorate the walls from floor to ceiling.
By the way, the light that will be reflected in the mirrors will give the bedroom even more coziness and a certain mystery.
Multilayered
The more decorative elements of different textures in the bedroom, the cozier the bedroom will be. Therefore, it would not be superfluous to take a closer look at shaggy carpets, decorative velvet pillows, fur blankets and other decorative items.
Minimalism
The bedroom should promote relaxation. Accordingly, nothing should distract you in it. Therefore, you should not clutter the interior with unnecessary things. This applies to both furniture and souvenirs, photographs, vases and other accessories.
Accent
If you think that the bedroom interior is boring, then you can put an accent on one of the walls.
For example, if you used light wallpaper without a pattern or light-colored paint to decorate the walls, then in this case you can use photo wallpaper or rich-colored wallpaper with a large pattern to decorate one of the walls.
Flowers
They can enliven and make absolutely any room cozy. Moreover, these can be both flowers in pots and bouquets.
But it is highly undesirable to place bouquets of strongly scented flowers, such as lilies, daffodils or hyacinths, in the bedroom.
