It is also worth avoiding dark colors for the reason that dark tones visually make the room even smaller.

A carpet in the hallway is not the best solution, as it will become a kind of collector of dust and dirt.
Therefore, if you decide to use a carpet, it is best to lay a small washable rug or a light carpet that you can wash or shake out outside without any problems.
Pay special attention to lighting. Make sure that there is enough light in the hallway and that there are no dark corners.

A small narrow room should not be overloaded with a lot of furniture.
Therefore, a narrow wardrobe with mirrors installed on the doors will be quite sufficient, or you can install a large mirror on one of the walls.

And for clothes, you can buy a wall hanger with hooks or a floor hanger, a shoe rack or a compact shoe stand, and you can also hang several small shelves to store keys and other small items.
