Here are some tips on how to store them as compactly as possible, as well as a couple of tricks that will help make rooms look more spacious.
Drawers instead of shelves
By pulling out a drawer, you can see everything that is in it. And on the shelves closer to the wall, forgotten, unnecessary things often accumulate. Using drawers, people clean them more often, and this saves space, says Yulia Tychino .
For the kitchen or bathroom, rotating stands are also convenient instead of regular shelves.
Vertical storage where possible
A shoe cabinet with vertical shelves is already a regular one and will save space in the hallway. It is more convenient to take umbrellas, keys, hats and bags from a hook than to search in a chest of drawers.
Paintings and mirrors instead of vases and figurines
The more decor there is in a room, the more cramped it looks. In a small apartment, it is better not to put anything extra on tables and shelves.
It is better to hang a couple of pictures. A little trick: it is better to hang them above the eye line. This visually "stretches" the height of the ceilings.
A good decor option would be a large mirror in a stylish frame. It also makes the room look bigger. It is better to hang it on the longest wall.
