The color of chocolate – dark or milk – is loved by everyone, just as everyone loves chocolate.

Well, if the owners finally decided to decorate the room in chocolate tones, they need to remember some aspects.
When decorating the walls, you need to analyze which side of the room the windows face. If they face the sunny side, you can safely start working. But if the room faces north, the result may look gloomy.
In this case, it is better to make a niche or one wall in chocolate tones, and make the other three sides bright and juicy, and you can choose wallpaper with stripes or elements of the same chocolate color, it is fashionable to play on contrasts, just choose warm shades.
By the way, if the room faces north, the walls may require additional insulation, so insulating materials, such as penoplex, should be purchased and installed before starting the renovation.
A chocolate-style floor is a great solution, regardless of what the interior will be like and what kind of flooring the owners choose.
Chocolate linoleum (parquet, laminate, etc.) looks respectable; moreover, it is not easily soiled.
Finally, you can also choose chocolate furniture – for example, leather sofas. However, to avoid going overboard with dark shades, it is better to dilute them with light, saturated tones – gold, orange, turquoise or olive. In this way, even the most strict classic interior can be saved from despondency.
